Approving estimates

When the tixity team puts together a draft estimate for your account, it lands in Awaiting your approval on the Billing page. Until you act on it, no work starts.

You’ll also notice the request show up on your roadmap with its price in amber and a PENDING badge, and contribute to the amber ⏳ total on the lane header. Approving here moves the amount into the blue approved total automatically.

Approving an estimate

  1. Open the Billing tab (or press B).
  2. Find the row in Awaiting your approval.
  3. Click Approve and confirm.

The row moves to Accepted, awaiting invoice. Your account team converts it to an invoice from there, usually within a business day.

Tip: Want to see the line items first? Click View ↗ to open the full estimate. Approve from either place.

Rejecting an estimate

If the estimate isn’t right (wrong scope, pricing, or timing), click Reject instead.

The row moves to Awaiting new estimate, with the price you declined still visible so you can reference it. Your account team sees the rejection and will send a revised estimate.

When the revised estimate arrives, the row pops back into Awaiting your approval at the new amount, and you can decide again. There’s no limit on how many times the back-and-forth can happen — adjust until the deal is right.

Tip: Reject is available on every estimate, including Zoho-issued ones. Approving uses the same button.

Approving or rejecting from the roadmap

You can also act on a pending estimate from the roadmap. Click the item’s row to open the side panel — if there’s an estimate awaiting your approval, you’ll see Approve estimate and Reject estimate buttons next to the price. They do the same thing as the buttons on the Billing page.
