Renderer

The renderer is the customer-facing seat selection view. It displays your published seatmap and lets ticket buyers choose their seats interactively.

How it works

Once your seatmap is saved and the event is live, the renderer loads the same data you created in the designer and presents it as an interactive seat picker.

Tips

Tip: Always preview your seatmap in the renderer before going live. Check that sections are correctly named, seats are properly categorized, and the layout looks clear to someone who has never visited the venue.

Tip: Gap avoidance prevents buyers from leaving a single empty seat between selections. This is important for maximizing capacity - a lone empty seat between two groups is almost impossible to sell.
