Shapes and icons
Shapes and icons are decorative elements that help communicate the venue layout to ticket buyers. They don’t represent sellable seats.
Basic shapes
Access via shapes → basic shapes in the sidebar:
| shape | use case |
|---|---|
| line | Barriers, walkways, boundaries |
| circle | Columns, pillars, round features |
| rectangle | Stages, bars, platforms |
| polygon | Custom shapes (click vertices, double-click to close) |
Predefined icons
Access via shapes → icons in the sidebar:
| icon | meaning |
|---|---|
| food | Food concessions, restaurants |
| bar | Drink service, bar areas |
| exit | Emergency exits, entry/exit points |
| bathrooms | Restroom facilities |
| stage | Performance area |
| accessible | Wheelchair-accessible areas |
Text labels
Use the text tool to add labels anywhere on the canvas. Useful for section names, directional markers, or venue notes.
Stage pin
The stage element is special - it appears as a labeled box (like the “STAGE” label in the Coca Cola Arena screenshot) and helps orient the venue layout for ticket buyers.
Tips
Tip: Decorative elements like shapes and icons are visible on the renderer (the seat selection view your customers see). Use them to help attendees understand the venue layout.
Tip: Shapes can be resized, rotated, and repositioned just like any other element. They sit on their own layer and don’t interfere with seat selection.
