General admission

General admission (GA) zones represent standing areas or unnumbered seating where attendees are not assigned specific seats. GA zones have a capacity but no individual seat numbers.

Creating GA zones

  1. Switch to Drawing mode (shortcut: 1)
  2. Click the general admission tool in the sidebar
  3. Choose a shape:
    • rounded - elliptical GA zone
    • rectangular - box-shaped GA zone
    • polygonal - custom polygon shape
  4. Draw the zone on the canvas

After selecting a GA zone, the context menu shows:

Tips

Tip: GA zones are commonly used for standing areas near the stage (golden circle), festival grounds, and general admission balconies.

Tip: In Categories mode, GA zones can be assigned their own category with a GA-type pricing tier. This keeps them separate from seated categories in reports.
