Editing elements
Once you’ve placed elements on the canvas, you can move, resize, rotate, duplicate, and delete them.
Moving elements
Click and drag any element to reposition it. Hold shift while dragging to constrain movement to horizontal or vertical.
Resizing
Select an element to see its resize handles. Drag any handle to resize. For row blocks, resizing adjusts the spacing between seats.
Rotating
Selected elements show a rotation handle above the top edge. Drag it to rotate. Rotation is useful for angling sections to follow the curve of a venue.
Duplicating
Select an element and press ⌘D (or right-click → duplicate) to create a copy. The duplicate appears offset from the original.
Deleting
Select an element and press Delete or Backspace to remove it.
Multi-element operations
Select multiple elements (drag-select or shift-click), then:
- move all selected elements together
- delete all at once
- flip horizontally or vertically
- align elements (top, bottom, left, right, center)
Snap to grid
Toggle Snap to Grid in the display panel (right side) to align elements to the grid. This helps create clean, evenly-spaced layouts.
Tips
Tip: Use the undo shortcut (
⌘Z) to reverse any action. The designer maintains a full undo history for your session.
